The year before my Bar Mitzvah, Rabbi Miller our Ohev Rabbi,
suddenly passed away. So very quickly planning needed to take place on what to do to ensure my class was properly trained. For me, Les stepped in and he was also very active in leading services and HH services at Ohev. The congregation really enjoyed Les’ davening and melodies. Les made sure I was prepared and he also helped others with their preparation.
Years later Bev and I were married. This was during the time where Les was seriously into photography. Les was our wedding photographer and his name is on our wedding book.
By the way, in between my Bar Mitzvah and wedding I was very active in AZA/BBYO. During my AZA years, I had the pleasure of meeting and being around my friend Linda Clutz or as we just called her…. “Clutz.” She was a remarkable person.
Enjoy this wonderful and happy occasion. Les has touched so many people in a positive way.
