    This is a picture of the only cousin who survived WWII in Poland on the Kershenbaum side with her husband. I was told that she was being taken to be killed in a truck naked with other people and she jumped out of the truck and was able to escape. She was able to beg a local farmer for clothes. She spent the rest of the war in the woods with the Polish underground. After the war, my grandfather Harry Kershenbaum would send them old worn out shoes that he had hid money in. He would take apart the soles of the shoes and hide the money there.
    They immigrated to Israel.
