Markus moved to this house abt 1945. This building had an elevator but they lived on the first floor. There was a wealthy family, the Gurowitz’ who lived in the building. On
Abba's birthday he gave Abba $5 so Abba ran straight to the grocery store and paid off the family tab and also bought 4-5 bags of groceries.

Markus moved from this apt about 1949.

Abba left "the home" in 1951.
