Israeliten Gemeinde Pressburg, (Neolog) for Kopel Weisz and Flora Rosenfeld. See notes.

This is a handwritten book of the Israeliten Gemeinde Pressburg, (Neolog) that is currently in the archives in Bratislava, Slovakia.

I copied it at the Bratislava (Pressburg) archiv. some years ago.
It is an alphabetical index for the marriage book. You see the page number, entry number and year. Weisz, Kopel and Rosenfeld, Flora are about 3/4 of the way down on the left page.

So the marriage took place in a Neolog synagogue in Bratislava.

It gives the reference of the entry in the Marriage book, but that I have not seen.

I would like to see the Neolog BMD books, but the archive says they do not have them. I doubt.

Those books are stolen from the synagogues probably at the time of the Kristallnacht.

I suspect many BMD books somewhere in dusty rooms of the archive. Most archivers do not confess that fact, but sometimes they show me books that are not listed, and the public does not know. Especially archivers with some Jewish roots are grateful to see you researching, and the start talking and are helpful by showing books and documents I would not believe there are...
