Yakov Gurevitch 1932 (back) See Notes
Yakov’s picture taken in 1932. He was very handsome but disabled since his early childhood. His nanny was holding him behind his knees and he tipped backward dislocating both knee caps that did not heal properly. The back of the picture says,” To my dear wonderful relatives in memory of being in Odessa”. As a matter of fact he travelled a lot from Kishinev and loved to stay with us in Odessa. He loved my mother’s cooking. All his life he lived with his sister Reizl and her family.
