Jenny Steinlauf Blonder and Rose Steinlauf Marcus. See notes.
Jenny Steinlauf Blonder (third from the left) and Rose Steinlauf Marcus (fourth from the left) visited Poland 1937-1938. Their trip to Poland was to save these unidentified relatives. Although Jenny and Rose made it back ok, the trip was unsuccessful. The family they went to save are presumed to be murdered in the Holocaust after September, 1939.
"It's do very sad they couldn't save them just imagine them wanting to save their brothers and sisters. That being said, they actually didn't all die. My father I imagine was in the Polish army by then. Next to my father Teitek - to his right is our grandmother for sure I recognize her and the tall woman behind my dad reminds me of a tall sister sitting my dad when he was little I'm praying the names are written in the pictures I have at home but I'm not sure because I never knew about any siblings except Jennie who was in Chicago - and yes Lynn your picture of my parents wedding I have never seen - imagine. we emigrated from France after the war with my parents Treitel and Edith who both survived the holocaust in Siberian labor camps and met after the war in an orphanage for Jewish children."
